The 10km Happy Hire ‘Humble Dove’ course is an excellent option for walkers and those new to trail running, but it still offers a solid test of stamina and agility. This scenic loop avoids the gruelling climbs of the 15km ‘Dozer Line’ while still featuring steady ascents and technical single track that will keep you on your toes.

Starting at the historic Island Hills woolshed, the route follows the Dove River before gradually climbing to a grass saddle, then descends through farmland to the Glencoe River aid station. The final section flows along single track and a short 4WD track to the finish line, offering a rewarding mix of terrain and views for those ready to push themselves.
